Party Night Theme - "100 Years of Disney Magic"

Timings:

4.00 - 5.30pm

 Marquee open to dress your table. A HoVEC representative will meet you on   arrival and direct you to your table

5.30 - 6.30pm

 Marquee closed for judging

6.30pm           

 Event starts, bar and marquee open

7.30 - 9.00pm     

 Food - guests eat

9.00pm

 Live band starts

11.00pm

 Bar closes

11.15pm

 Music stops

11.45pm

 Event finishes - please leave quietly.

 

The Theme

This year's theme is “100 Years of Disney Magic” - We look forward to seeing your interpretations in the dressing of your table. This year's judges will include representatives from HoVEC, FOHPS, the Parish Council and Kindergarten. Tables will be marked on creativity, originality and recycling, linked to our Disney theme. Judges will not vote for their own table. The Marquee is closed whilst judging takes place between 5.30pm – 6.30pm. The marquee will re-open at 6.30pm for guests to view the winning tables.

 

Fancy Dress:

We are thrilled that so many people come in fancy dress linked to their table’s theme. This does NOT form part of the judging criteria, though does make a great talking point!

 

HoVEC Provides

● Table. Dimensions;

○ 5ft 6 inch for 10 guests of less

○ 6ft for 10 - 12 guests

● Chairs for Guests

Bin liners will be provided at the end of the evening to take away your rubbish and dispose of at home, please.

● Wine glasses

● Table decoration themed to “100 Years of Disney Magic”

● Clearance of your table at the end of the evening

 

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

● Table decoration should only be on the table - due to access and egress and any additional items will be removed by HoVEC

● Table decoration should be a sensible size, if in doubt please email info.hovec@gmail.com for clarification

● NO CANDLES or BBQs

● Balloons - please let us know in advance if this is part of your decoration.

 

Raffle

We will be running our very successful Raffle in the run up to and over the weekend itself, which will be drawn on Sunday 11th June at 4pm.

1st prize - £250 cash

2nd prize - Local supplier Hamper

3rd pize - £50.00 One for All voucher

Plus many more! Tickets cost £1 each - PLEASE HAVE CASH AVAILABLE. Money raised from the raffle helps fund this and other HoVEC events.

 

Licensed Bar

The Social Club will be running the licensed bar all weekend with a selection of real ales, lager, wines and spirits. Please support and use the bar which is run by volunteers and all profit from the weekend goes towards helping our community. HoVEC could not run these events without the support and help provided by the Social Club. You may bring your own wine/fizz as there are no pre-orders, but please support the Social Club for all your other drinks.
